What makes a person stand out from the crowd?
How do some people stand head and shoulders above their peers?
Is it because they're tall?
Not always...
People stand out because of their lifestyles. And if you're honest, if you have integrity, when people can count on you ... then you will stand out.
The type of people that use handshakes instead of contracts, the type of people whose word is their bond, over and over they're appreciated throughout our little world.
Some people tell you what you want to hear but that's as far as they go. Then when it's time to make things happen their excuses start piling up. And if one excuse doesn't work, that's okay, they have ten more. Those are self-centered people. You may need to watch out for them.
Or you may need to provide them with an example for how they should behave. Show them how to live with honesty and integrity. And if a little bit of you rubs off on them ... then you just helped out the world.
