I must tell those of you who have read my blogs that I have triumphantly made maple syrup. I talked my hubby in to letting me try one last time and I watched my pot like a hawk. It is al ittle dark but still super sweet and the kids loved it. It was great satisfaction to watch them gobble up their sticky sweet waffles this morning knowing I had made that syrup for them. God is so good that he would give us ways to make such neat things. My question is...who the heck thought of trying to boil down sap?? People were so industrious in the past. Like all the herbal supplements we take now, who tried all these things out to find out they worked. must have been a lot of trial and error I guess. Maybe God revealed it to people. Either way, it's cool and God is good.
