Hi, Susan,

I don't actually edit journals at all, but books, some academic and some "trade" (as they call "ordinary" books). Hendrickson specializes in biblical studies books on all kinds of topics. My specialties are New Testament and biblical Greek language books, but I've recently worked on preaching, leadership, and spirituality books.

What kind of work do you do?

I did have a nice weekend thanks, and last weekend was even better, the annual 4 day Parachute music festival, with my favourite band playing- Third Day, and getting to meet them too. Hope yours was great!

Thank you for your delightful comments.... and, yes I am also a Californian, Southern. The OC to be exact! I do love my books on tape, I discovered them a few years back while driving to my little get-away on the Colorado River, its about a 5 hours drive, and I've listened to more books than I would ever have time to sit and read! I've actually gotten my husband hooked on them also ! How was your Christmas ? Have you heard from your son ? My oldest boy and his family live in Colorado Springs and I was just listening to the news. I guess they are really getting hit with the snow storms back there. Its hard to complain about the weather here when it seems like so much of the country is suffering right now ! Nice to talk to you

True, the ocean is not very close here, but I love the Mountians! It is so nice here, I love Colorado Springs, still has that "Small Town" feel to it!

Nice to meet you. My friend's grandmother lives in Santa Maria, I visited once and scored an awesome paisley dress and a leather jacket from some thrift stores.
