One of the most blessed things you can witness is a Baptism. This was a very special baptism. A young lady mentally and physically challanged accepted the Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She accepted him with the innocence of a child and as fully as her understanding would allow. She has been a true blessing to us. We had 8 baptisms that day in a pool because we don't have a permanent church building. Who needs a building to have church? God is good all the time.
Aaron and I were teachers for the youth group at VBS this year. (Talk about un-charted territory) We had over 16 youth - Praise the Lord. As incentive for them to come every night, we told them that at the end of the week they could pour buckets of water over our heads. Do you know, every single one of those buggers came every night. We had a great time. Can't wait til next year.

Bill & I had the opportunity to go to the Dominican Republic to a little town called Boano to do Mission Work. It was a great time. This was a defining moment for my Husband and his relationship with God. I am so glad I was there to witness the beginning.
First and foremost I am a Christian. I am also the wife of a recently saved husband and the mother of two highly active children.
I am very active in my church and am one of those "Bible Thumpers" , if you will, who is there everytime the door is open. I can't get enough of Jesus and always leave church hungrier for the Word than when I got there. My vision and the Vision of our Church is to reach ALL people for Christ, regardless of race, social status, money, or age and train them to serve Him. Every day I wake up a sinner and go to bed a sinner, but that doesn't stop me from trying to follow the example Jesus set for us. I am so unworthy of God's love. I thank God every single day for His Mercy and Grace and His unselfish gift of salvation through Jesus Christ.
I also believe things happen for a reason and try not to dwell on why they happen, but what did I learn from it. If I don't learn or understand why, I try to accept the fact that I may never know and some things are better left not known.
Love me or hate me, there is no inbetween.

Missed you tonight. I hope you're feeling better. The movie was great! College Road Trip was cute! Now I want to see Horton Hears a Who! Whaz up on your end? Eddie had 2 tornadoes or straight line winds, one in Hampstead, one in Rocky Point, that he had to leave Clinton to go take care of. Seven minor injuries, 2 single wides off their foundations, 1 single wide rolled. One infant was being assessed when we talked as he was coming into Penderlea. I hope he'll get home before too late. But it comes with the job! Has Bill gotten home, yet? Jim and Rosemary got stuck in the little ditch beside the house...Kevin had to come get them out! That was funny! I told them to let Nathaniel move the van over some so they wouldn't have to back out...oh well...
Sorry it took so long to get back, You know it was a good day! I think it is going to be so worth while. I feel in my heart that this is the start of something great. Just keep the {Faith}. See you Friday if not sooner.
Oh what a night. I'm floating on cloud 9!! Ain't it great to be a part of Gods great plain, and to see Him at work? Plant and water, plant and water. That's what we've been called to do. How can anyone not believe in Christ? They just haven't seen Him at work. Opening your mind and soul and just watch and you can see him work right before your eyes. He is in the soul saving business. Could you feel it? The Spirit at work touching hearts while we prayed. I don't know when I have prayed so hard, knowing something was about to happen. It was like my heart was about to burst with excitement as the Pastor said thank you, thank you ,thank you, like it wasn't going to stop. What an awesome experience.... Thanking God for it all.
